Gloria, “Queen” Gloria as she calls herself and rightly so as her years of service as a recovering addict
then as a caring service provider working in the field during the HIV AIDS and now the COVID-19 pandemic and being a friend helping so many in NA to cope seeking a better way to live free of drugs and related behaviors and attitudes.
Queen Gloria is from California and her turn away to live a stronger and longer started in Massachusetts. Her recovery resonates in kindness especially to those called “new comers” guiding if needed through suggestions. Never judging. That is how she is. The Queen, a Queen.
She is well known and respected across the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for her involvement in organizing NA events with many other NA groups and non NA help them to beer understand the human dynamics of addiction. Service works stressed and performed.
Her smile and encouraging ways wearing the colorful outfits were wore by the Ancestors who were called Queens adds to her statue of African culture where women were leaders in their society and sought out. Such is the case of Queen Gloria Johnson in service to our community.
