Cheryl Jones-Austin earned her Master of Education degree from Cambridge College in 1983. Throughout a career that spans almost forty years, she has been dedicated to helping others less fortunate than herself. She is noted for her compassion, her kindness, and the nonjudgmental manner she displays while working with her clients. Cheryl believes that all people deserve to be treated with honor and dignity, no matter what their life circumstances might be. She credits her early days at Women’s, inc., and her time at F.I.R.S.T., inc. for helping her to develop her counselling skills, and her crisis intervention skills. Cheryl is well respected by her peers and colleagues for her leadership qualities and her ability to work well with diverse populations. Currently, she is a Case Manager for Middlesex Human Service, inc., where she continues to work on behalf of those who might be less privileged—to lift them up, to inspire them, to encourage them to be the best version of themselves.
